Who is responsible for your data

Edgar Iván Sifuentes Macias, doing business as Tátem, located at Sierra de Aracena 129, San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí, is the data controller of your personal data under Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.

For anything about this notice or your data, write to hola@tatem.mx.

What personal data we process

  • What you give us when you book or ask for information through the online booking engine, WhatsApp or phone: name, email, phone number, dates of stay, number of guests and anything you choose to write to us. If you pay online, your payment details.
  • What is collected while you browse this site, through Google Analytics cookies: pages you visit and for how long, clicks and scrolling, device type, operating system and browser, language, approximate location (city or country) and the page you came from.

We do not process sensitive personal data.

What we use it for

Purposes needed to serve you:

  • Handling your booking or answering your request for information.
  • Confirming availability, rates and conditions, and contacting you about your stay.
  • Providing the accommodation service.
  • Meeting legal and tax obligations, such as issuing invoices.

Purpose not needed to serve you:

  • Compiling usage statistics for this site, with Google Analytics, to improve it.

This last purpose requires your consent. We take it as given if, after the cookie notice we show you when you arrive, you do not reject them.

You can refuse it at any time by rejecting cookies or by writing to hola@tatem.mx. Refusing does not affect your booking or the service we give you.

Cookies and Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google LLC, to measure visits. Google Analytics stores the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID> in your browser, which last up to two years, and uses them to collect the browsing data described above. Google Analytics does not log or store your IP address. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies.

When you arrive on the site we tell you about these cookies and you can accept or reject them. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google Analytics does not store cookies in your browser until you accept it; until then, Google only receives measurement signals without cookies or identifiers.

You can learn how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

To turn them off, at any time:

  • Use the “Cookie settings” button and choose “Reject”: we delete the Google Analytics cookies and stop measuring your visits.
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
  • Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

In addition, for no tracking purpose, your browser keeps your cookie choice (tatem_consent, in local storage).

Who we share your data with

We do not transfer your personal data to third parties, so we do not ask for your consent to do so. We would only disclose it where the law does not require that consent, such as at the request of a competent authority.

To run this site and our bookings we rely on providers that process data only on the hotel’s behalf and following its instructions. Some of them are outside Mexico, mainly in the United States:

  • Tátem, which runs the online booking engine and processes bookings and their payments.
  • Vercel Inc., which hosts this website.
  • Google LLC, which provides the Google Analytics service.

If you message us on WhatsApp, the conversation is also subject to WhatsApp’s privacy policy.

Your ARCO rights, withdrawal and limitation

You can access your personal data, rectify it, cancel it or object to its processing (ARCO rights). You can also withdraw your consent or ask us to limit the use or disclosure of your data.

Send your request to hola@tatem.mx including:

  • Your name and a way to send you our reply.
  • A document proving your identity or, where applicable, that of your representative.
  • A clear description of the data and the right you want to exercise, and anything that helps us locate it.
  • If you ask for a correction, the document that supports it.

We will reply within 20 business days of receiving your request and, if it is granted, we will carry it out within the following 15 business days. Either period may be extended once by the same length when justified. The request is free of charge; only reproduction or shipping costs may apply.

Changes to this notice

We will publish any change on this same page, www.glampingdunaschachalacas.com/en/aviso-de-privacidad, with its update date.

If you believe your right to the protection of your personal data has been violated, you can turn to Mexico’s Secretariat of Anti-Corruption and Good Governance (Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno), the authority in this matter.
